Other Fees
Yes, we provide other services and therefore there are other fees that you may want to consider.
We are more than happy to help, but sometimes people take the “michael” and we have ended up having to charge for these services, otherwise we’ll be living in tents somewhere. So please don’t be shocked.
You need to add 20% VAT on these fees
Bookkeeping:
- £55 per hour. If you are a member of the ISM, MU or Equity, then it is reduced to £40 per hour
- Xero subscription – standard subscription with GBP only £28 per month +
- Receipt bank Scanning Software – £15 per month
Advice and consultation:
- £120 per hour of part of.
Advice and consultation:
- Set up a new payroll with HMRC – £150 one off fee
- Monthly running of a payroll up to 3 people – £30 per month. This includes all filing. e-payslip access can be provided if required.
- Preparation and filing of P11D if required – £50 per employee
Limited companies:

Annual Confirmation statement – £63 which includes the Companies House fee.
Start up advice – 30min FOC phone consultation
Set up of a company – from £150. We do offer our address as the registered office for £300 per year, so you may be better off using a self service formation company to set up the company and act as the registered office & directors service address.
Adding directors / removing directors – £45
Financial Director services – POA
Personal services:
Mortgage/letting reference information and accounting certificate – £75
Review of tax data rather than completion of the tax return – £75 per hour with a minimum of a 1 hour charge. If you are not a client and need a mortgage reference, then this is the fee charged to review your data and then the certificate fee.
Software Services:
Set up of Xero – £150 per hour with the data you provide. Expect this to be about 2.5 hours and does not include any transfer of data from an old system for prior years/months.
Xero training courses. Can be split into modules and delivered with by Skype or 1:2:1 training – POA
Ad Hoc Xero support – £60 a month with a minimum 4 month cover.
VAT registration & returns:
Registration is based on time only @ £120 per hour. Normally this is only 1 hour
Quarterly VAT returns is based on the systems being used and what work you do as to what we do, so this need to be discussed before a price can be given.
Training Courses:
These are currently in development and is a mixture of online self paced courses, webinar based training, and also half day work workshops. When released, they will be listed here.
